WET PANTSCome with me to a third grade classroom…

There is a nine-year-old kid sitting at his desk and all of a sudden, there is a puddle between his feet and the front of his pants are wet.

He thinks his heart is going to stop because he cannot possibly imagine how this has happened. It’s never happened before, and he knows that when the boys find out he will never hear the end of it. When the girls find out, they’ll never speak to him again as long as he lives.

The boy believes his heart is going to stop; he puts his head down and prays this prayer, “Dear God, this is an emergency! I need help now! Five minutes from now I’m dead meat.”

He looks up from his prayer and here comes the teacher with a look in her eyes that says he has been discovered.

As the teacher is walking toward him, a classmate named Susie is carrying a goldfish bowl that is filled with water. Susie trips in front of the teacher and inexplicably dumps the bowl of water in the boy’s lap.

The boy pretends to be angry, but all the while is saying to himself, “Thank you, Lord! Thank you, Lord!”

Now all of a sudden, instead of being the object of ridicule, the boy is the object of sympathy.

The teacher rushes him downstairs and gives him gym shorts to put on while his pants dry out. All the other children are on their hands and knees cleaning up around his desk. The sympathy is wonderful.

But as life would have it, the ridicule that should have been his has been transferred to someone else – Susie.

She tries to help, but they tell her to get out, yelling, “You’ve done enough, you klutz!”

Finally, at the end of the day, as they are waiting for the bus, the boy walks over to Susie and whispers, “You did that on purpose, didn’t you?”

Susie smiles and whispers back, “I wet my pants once too.”

May God help us see the opportunities that are always around us to do good…

Remember… Just going to church doesn’t make you a Christian any more than standing in your garage makes you a car.

Each and everyone one of us is going through tough times right now, but God is getting ready to bless you in a way that only He can.

Have you ever wondered why humans can be all “oh-so-sweet” and jolly in front of you, and a coniving serpent. I’ve come to a slight conclusion though, correct me if i may be wrong. But sometimes, it’s not what you do But it’s what you can do, or the abilities to do things that people gets all green eyed upon. Not praising myself that i’m damn good or whatever, but i sometimes i do believe that if you have the ability to teach the right things, and help people by correcting what is wrong, would it be a crime of goodwill??? or maybe i should be more irresponsible to the colleagues and really not care about what they do?? i guess i’ve gotta learn to do that more.

 Today was one of the worse days i had at work, back biting, causing unintentionally the oven to go up in flames etcetc…

I know the highlight of that sentence was getting the oven in flames, and all the night boys were and are quite pissed at me, though they didn’t show it, just kept cursing and swearing at me when i was not around. well it happened when i couldn’t find a tray deep enough to braise the duck legs for dinner service, so i used a slightly smaller one, and i was rushing to do it and quite a few things at the same time, so i packed the duck legs nicely into the tray and poured it’s braising liquid in(duck oil), and tightly sealed it up with tin foil, than into the oven it goes!

Who knew that 2 hours later(suppose to be braising for 4 hours, the oil splattered all over the oven and caused flames to ignite. to cut the story short, the oven cannot be used anymore, But the stoves are still working, they’re pissed at me cause that’s the only oven that’s used frequently, and the nearest to thier station… one thing that must be kept in mind though is this, the oven has not been cleaned or even wiped down for at least 6 months.

 only 1 thing so far made my day, and it’s still about food. read through a food blog(it’s only one of singapore’s most influential food blogger) and he wrote an article about the restaurant’s dishes!!! guess who made it!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ME!! you can check out his article here.

here’s a little picture of when i was in ireland,

serenity.. beautiful landscape and very meditative place, no wonder great bands and singers come from ireland!!

 That’ll be the most satisfying years of my life if i can get to move around the world, cooking and singing, with a life filled with passion and love, learning cultures, seeing people smile as we eat and make merry, i always say, a good meal doesn’t mean that the food has to be expensive or lavish, just good proper food,decent drinks and GREAT company!!

 Another thing, i still can’t forget about the girl i saw in holland, hahaha till now she hasn’t replied me, Maybe she does think that i’m a wierd-ass gay looking singaporean chinese(still can’t blame her, as i said before 90% of the chinese i met in holland are gay.). still a reply from her would be best, though, not necessary, as *sigh* the greatest of things may never happen to me.

Anyways, i’ve actually written a song about her, hahahaha i know i gila babi, hahahaha once i can record it, i’ll put it up, not sure when but i will… i still owe you guys the readers a write up on ireland, i’m still trying to consolidate all the pictures and events…

Well this is my 2nd week back in singapore, and except for the situation between my dad and i, everything else is fine and dandy..

you are the figure in my thoughts that keep me sleepless at night, and awakens me in the morn, the one that makes me lose my focus in work. The one thing in my mind the whole time!!! i don’t know what to do and am totally confused. i want to say “is this love at first sight’. But afraid it might be just an infatuation, But i would dare say this and for the whole world to hear, you are the only one in my 25 years of living the one person that made my palms sweaty, my mind blank, my face blush, my heart all-a-fluttering and my legs wobble in that first few moments of having gaze at you……. i wish, i just wish before i returned, i would’ve seen you for a little while more….. and get to hold even just your hand a little bit longer… i don’t know why i’m doing this, maybe…. sigh, i don’t know why……. i read this to myself, and think, “damn man james, you’re getting all girly here, get a grip, don’t be a wuss, you sound like a pervert..”  But even i don’t not know what is it now, I might never ever see you again, Or maybe by some twist of fate i would…. Only God would decide now.

I know one thing’s for sure, you are the one thing God placed for me to realise what the meaning and feeling of to fall-in-love with heart mind and soul. If you ever read this, do note that i do not put this is to scare you, But to say in these typed words, because i do not dare speak this to you.

NO MORE!!!!!

Had a ball of a time in amsterdam on Queen’s day! drank a little wee bit too much, But that’s a story for later in this entry.

Here’s an old classic car,

caught it while on the road.

This pastry is called Tompuss,

or somthing spelt like that. Don’t think otherwise all you cheeky buggers out there… It’s actually Puff pastry with custard cream and on top it’s some strawberry icing, not so sure about the proper name for it. But it’s a typical dutch pastry, or so i’ve been told.

almost 10 kilos of it. and REALLY REALLY CHEAP about 10 euros!!!

The entrance to Amsterdam Just outside the train station…

On this day, all trading laws in Amsterdam is lifted and everyone can sell anything on the streets, and drinking alcohol on the streets is legal for the day, Only when you carry a cup of it, any more *eg:-6 pack beer* you’ll be fined and would be considered illegal(which i think is quite dumb). So i took a beer and we walked about 20 mins to the biggest stage area in amsterdam, the 538 stage.


Where all the youth and those that think they’re still young go to. Apparently the show starts early at about 10 and would go on till late at night, where the bigger acts would come out, like dj tiesto, simon webb etc etc. But it was too crowded and music is quite boring to my taste, so a couple of us left

and went bar hopping, keeping in mind, that we’ll be only having a beer in one bar and than moving on to the next.
